Tom & Huck Statue

Located at the foot of Cardiff Hill at Main Street

See the bronze statue of Twain's most memorable and mischievous characters as they are depicted walking down the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, awaiting their next adventure. Sculpted in 1925 by Canton, Mo native Frederick Hibbard, it is one of seven statues in the world of literary characters.

Mark Twain Lake consists of 18,600 acres of surface water and is surrounded by 38,400 acres of land managed by the U.S. Corps of Engineers. The Lake is approximately 27 miles in length and provides 285 miles of beautiful shoreline.
